Secondary teacher Grade 11 & 12 Chemistry Tutor – Ontario Curriculum

I am an experienced Chemistry and Biology educator with over 18 years of teaching experience. I hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Education, and the Cambridge International Certificate for Teaching and Learning (CICTL) with distinction. I am also a member in good standing of the Ontario College of Teachers.

I have extensive experience teaching Grades 9–12 Science, including Grade 11 and 12 Chemistry and Biology. I provide personalized, one-to-one instruction tailored to each student’s learning needs and academic goals. My approach combines clear explanations, problem-solving practice, formative assessment, and targeted support to help students build strong conceptual understanding and confidence.

I am experienced in supporting students following the Ontario curriculum as well as preparing students for tests, exams, and advanced science courses. I also have experience helping students transition to university-level science through structured lessons and additional academic support.
