Physics / Science - Grades 1 - 12

Mahdi supports students in Grades 1–12 with physics-related topics, adapting his teaching to their grade level, curriculum requirements, and individual learning needs.
For elementary students in Grades 1–8, Mahdi helps students understand physics-related concepts within the Science and Technology curriculum, including energy, light, sound, electricity, forces, motion, and simple machines. He uses clear explanations, practical examples, and step-by-step guidance to make scientific concepts accessible and engaging.
For students in Grades 9–10, he provides support with physics topics covered in the Ontario Science curriculum, including electricity, energy, light, optics, and the properties of physical systems. He helps students understand scientific principles, interpret diagrams, apply relevant formulas, and solve problems systematically.
For students in Grades 11–12, Mahdi provides support in dedicated physics courses, including kinematics, velocity and acceleration, projectile motion, relative motion, Newton’s laws, dynamics, forces, work, energy, momentum, waves, sound, electricity, magnetism, and other relevant topics. For advanced Grade 12 students, he can also support topics such as gravitational and electric fields, electromagnetic radiation, and modern physics, depending on the course requirements.
Mahdi emphasizes understanding the reasoning behind equations rather than relying solely on memorization. His approach involves breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, identifying known and unknown quantities, selecting appropriate formulas, and checking the reasonableness of the final answer.
Whether students need help understanding difficult concepts, completing homework, preparing for tests and examinations, or strengthening their scientific foundations, Mahdi aims to provide structured, individualized guidance that builds confidence, improves understanding, and develops independent problem-solving skills.
